Ambala Foundation MRA registration no:000350-01308-00086, has been working in Bangladesh since 1994 with over one million people, their families and communities at the grass root to national level in the field of microfinance, human rights, governance, health, education, income generation, environment, women and children development, cross cultural communication etc. This personnel is typically responsible for overseeing the organization`s financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, and Coordinating the Finance & Accounts team of Ambala Foundation Head Office.

Job Responsibility:

Assistant Director / Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts serves as a Finance & Accounts Generalist with proven track record of providing full range of Financial and Accounting services. Solid understanding of all related functions with ability to handle and solve complex Financial Management issues. This personnel must have strong hand-on experience of collaborating cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations and Management to align business strategies and execution.

Financial Proposal Preparation

• Prepare financial proposals, budgets, and cost estimates for new projects, contracts, and business opportunities.

• Conduct cost-benefit, profitability, and break-even analyses.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requirements for proposed projects.

• Evaluate project financial viability and return on investment (ROI).

• Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.

• Review assumptions, costing methodologies, and risk factors before proposal submission.

• Monitor approved project budgets against actual performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Stakeholder Management

• Strategic planning and business expansion initiatives.

• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.

• Coordinate liaison with local and foreign donors for investment and partnership.

• Prepare business proposals and presentations for potential clients.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board.

• Dealing With Financial Organizations like Bangladesh Bank, Commercial Banks, National Board of Revenue (NBR), External Auditors, Insurance Companies, Leasing Companies, Credit Rating Agencies, Regulatory Authorities, and Financial Consultants and Advisory Firms.

• Managing banking facilities, loans, and credit lines.

• Coordinating statutory and tax compliance.

• Support due diligence, financial reviews, and funding assessments.
