The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit-out projects while ensuring quality, budget, and timeline objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, billing, site coordination, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior fit-out projects.
- Develop project cost estimates, budgets, and cost analyses.
- Manage client billing, contractor billing, and payment certifications.
- Monitor project costs and maintain effective budget control.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare project schedules and track project progress.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Support procurement by evaluating quotations and preparing comparative statements.
- Identify project risks and recommend practical solutions.
