The IT Associate is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network devices, and end-user computing systems. The role ensures smooth IT operations by minimizing downtime, resolving technical issues, supporting employees, and maintaining reliable technology services to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and deploy computers, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones, ID card printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs of IT hardware and related equipment.
- Provide first and second-level technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining local network infrastructure, including switches, routers, access points, and UPS systems.
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and operating systems.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT service requests and maintain proper documentation of incidents and solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for technical support, equipment maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and information security standards.
