• Daily routine check-up of vehicles and prepare maintenance plan and execute maintenance if required.

• Maintain repairing, servicing & spare parts records.

• Maintain proper communication to service center for maintenance service for company vehicles.

• Ensure timely servicing & repair to keep the down time at a minimum level.

• Repairing Mechanical & Electrical systems malfunctions.

• Conducting Inspections, repairing engine failures, replacing Parts & Components, repairing body damages.

• Experienced about spare parts, service of commercial vehicles like Cement Bulk Carrier, Covered Van, Truck, Pickup as well as available vendor sourcing for genuine & quality spares.

• Develop creative and innovative procurement process in a cost saving way.

• Maintain accurate records to receive & issue all materials, inventory taking, Quality checking as per procedure

• Planning for the requirement of vehicles considering maximum utilization;

• Responsible for maintenance and supervision of transport fleet with optimum use of vehicles.

• Ensure the duty roaster of drivers and other transport personnel.

• Repair and maintenance of vehicles to keep roadworthy all the time.

• Arrangement of transport to meet the requirements as and when required.

• Maintenance of transport related all the documents (Driver`s license is valid; insurance and all the taxes are paid in time and road permits of all the vehicles are up to date all the time).

• Ensure the maintenance, oiling and servicing schedule of the vehicles is requirement put up for approval of authority.

• Maintain liaison and negotiating with necessary Govt. offices as like as BRTA, Roads & Highways, local police station etc.

• Create awareness among the Drivers about road safety & security, change of concerned laws/Traffic rules etc. as and when required.

• To ensure cost-effective operation.

• Supervise the functions of all ancillary services.

• Any other task as assigned by management.
