About the Role
We are a growing IT services and outsourcing company supporting multiple business streams IT staffing, staff augmentation, back-office operations, and service delivery. We're looking for a Business Development Executive who can generate new business, understand client technical needs, and convert conversations into signed engagements.
This is a client-facing sales role, but not a pure "cold-calling" job. You'll need enough technical literacy to understand what clients are asking for-Full Stack, DevOps, AI/ML, QA, Data roles—scope it correctly, and speak credibly with technical stakeholders. You bring the deals in; the operations team handles sourcing and delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities across IT staffing and outsourcing service lines (outbound and inbound)
- Run client discovery calls to understand technical requirements, team needs, and budgets
- Translate client requirements into clear scopes and hand off to the delivery/sourcing team accurately
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and rate cards; negotiate terms with clients
- Build and manage a sales pipeline in the CRM, with disciplined follow-up and accurate forecasting
- Own the deal from first contact through closure, then coordinate a smooth handoff to operations for team mobilization
- Build long-term client relationships and grow existing accounts
- Track and report key sales metrics: pipeline status, conversion, deal value, and follow-up activity
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, rate benchmarks, and talent availability to inform positioning
- Represent the company professionally across calls, meetings, and written communication, often across time zones
