We are looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Development Merchandiser – Woven to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working closely with buyers, factories, and suppliers to ensure smooth product development and execution. You will play a key part in coordinating woven garment development, ensuring accurate costing, and supporting buyer requirements with precision and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline.

• 5–6 years of experience in Development Merchandising (Woven) with a reputed buying house.

• Preferred experience in handling NEXT PLC.

• Strong knowledge of product development, garment costing, consumption, woven fabrics, garment construction, sourcing, and buyer management.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with buyers and factories.

• Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends and market developments.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, analytical ability, and teamwork.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant computer applications.

Responsibilities:

• Support woven product development and sampling processes.

• Prepare accurate costing and consumption sheets.

• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and factories to ensure timely approvals and smooth execution.

• Track fashion trends and provide input for product innovation.

• Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with stakeholders.
