Core Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).

• Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitoring expenditures against budgets.

• Regulatory compliance: Managing tax-related matters, including VAT, TDS, and income tax, and ensuring timely filing of returns.

• Inventory management and cost accounting: May be involved in product costing, landed costing, and profitability calculations, particularly in the context of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• ERP system management: Working with ERP systems for accounting and financial transactions.

• Maintaining financial records: Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of all financial documents, invoices, and supporting materials.

• Communication and reporting: Preparing regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) on financial performance and communicating findings to management.

• Excellent proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modeling

• Positive "can-do" attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Handle full set of accounts, finance, and cash management

• Prepare financial reports, daily cash statements, and reconciliations

• Monitor cash inflow/outflow, petty cash, and bank transactions

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors or banks

• Maintain filing systems, official records, and asset registers.
