Job Purpose
The Executive – Sales & Marketing plays a vital dual role in driving passenger revenue. This position is responsible for delivering seamless ticketing and customer service at the front-line sales counter (B2C), while actively executing outdoor field campaigns, managing relationships, and running promotional strategies across assigned travel agencies (B2B) to maximize market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to assigned travel agencies according to the approved visit plan.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with travel agents and key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for travel trade partners.
- Resolve travel agent concerns and coordinate with internal departments for timely solutions.
- Achieve assigned passenger sales and revenue targets.
- Promote US-Bangla Airlines' domestic and international routes, products, and promotional campaigns.
- Encourage travel agents to prioritize US-Bangla Airlines for customer bookings.
- Generate new business opportunities by onboarding potential travel agencies.
- Monitor competitor airlines' pricing, schedules, promotions, commissions, and market activities.
- Assist customers with domestic and international flight bookings.
- Issue, reissue, reroute, and refund tickets in accordance with airline policies.
- Process reservations using the airline reservation system and GDS where applicable.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all customers.
- Respond to inquiries regarding schedules, fares, baggage allowances, travel requirements, and airline policies.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Encourage repeat business through excellent service.
- Support achievement of station sales objectives.
