The Surveillance Executive is responsible for ensuring effective security monitoring through CCTV, access control, and surveillance systems by maintaining system reliability, supporting investigations, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the operational effectiveness of CCTV cameras, biometric access control systems, and entry monitoring systems.
- Conduct real-time surveillance monitoring to identify suspicious activities, security threats, safety hazards, and operational irregularities.
- Support internal investigations by collecting and preserving CCTV footage, system logs, and other digital evidence as required.
- Ensure continuous availability and reliability of surveillance infrastructure through routine system checks, preventive maintenance, and coordination with technical teams.
- Monitor storage capacity, video data management, and system performance to ensure uninterrupted surveillance operations.
- Coordinate with IT, HR Compliance, and Security teams during security incidents, investigations, and system-related issues.
- Provide technical support for surveillance and security-related devices, including CCTV, NVR, biometric attendance systems, and access control systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation of surveillance activities, incidents, system faults, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
