Interact professionally with patients, attendants, physicians, and service users.

Implement and monitor standard infection prevention and control practices.

Plan and execute infection control programs to maintain acceptable infection rates.

Coordinate with the Microbiology Laboratory to review investigation reports and identify pathogens.

Conduct regular rounds and maintain daily and monthly infection control records.

Prepare and submit infection control statistical reports to the Infection Control Committee (ICC).

Supervise isolation procedures and provide guidance in specific clinical situations.

Provide infection control support and advice to nurses, healthcare workers, and non-clinical staff.

Maintain records of needle-stick injuries and ensure post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

Ensure compliance with hospital systems (iHIS, ERP, QMS, OSL), patient safety policies, disaster management, and proper waste disposal procedures.
