• Oversee day-to-day operations and preventive/breakdown maintenance of operation Fabrics Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and Utility equipment’s.

• Ensure Utility & Maintenance support for operation Fabrics Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and Garments machineries.

• Ensure efficient energy and resource utilization across all utility equipment’s.

• Lead and supervise mechanical technicians.

• Develop shift rosters, assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.

• Train and upskill the mechanical team on best practices, safety and machine troubleshooting.

• Monitor fuel, water, steam and compressed air consumption.

• Optimize operations to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency.

• Implement energy-saving initiatives across utility areas (e.g., Condensate recovery & heat recovery).

• Ensure all utility operations comply with national codes, environmental regulations, and factory safety laws.

• Ensure safety protocols like boiler pressure checks, Air pressure checks, emergency shutoffs and PPE usage are followed.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules (PMS) for all Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and Utility equipment’s.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, fuel consumption data and machine health records.

• Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action reports for Fabrics Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and Utility failures or downtime.

• Support or lead Fabrics Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and utility system setup for new projects, factory expansions, or upgrades.

• Plan installation of new Fabrics Dyeing, Finishing, Washing and Utility equipment, ensuring correct specifications, vendor selection and commissioning.

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams for Utility integration.

• Prepare and control Fabrics Dyeing m/c, Finishing m/c, Washing m/c and utility budgets (fuel, spare parts, manpower).

• Prepare maintenance reports, breakdown analyses and machine efficiency records.

• Target and achieve strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to minimizing machine breakdown time during critical production hours.
