Job Location

• Impact Hospital & Diagnostic center, Chuadanga.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.

• Diagnose common refractive errors and identify eye conditions requiring referral to an Ophthalmologist.

• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, including Auto Refractometer, Lensometer, Tonometer, Keratometer, Fundus Camera, OCT, and Visual Field Analyzer.

• Assist Ophthalmologists in patient assessment, diagnosis, and pre- and post-operative care.

• Provide patient counseling on eye health, vision care, contact lens use, and preventive eye care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ophthalmic equipment.

• Participate in eye screening programs, community outreach activities, and health awareness campaigns.

• Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, infection prevention protocols, and professional ethics.

• Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, opticians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Hospital Management from time to time
