We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining high product standards by designing effective test strategies, identifying issues early, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and repetitive testing.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing processes, release quality, and overall development efficiency.
• Ensure software meets functional, usability, performance, and security expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Experience designing detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validation using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and usability testing concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong ownership mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing healthcare, telemedicine, SaaS, or enterprise applications.
• Experience with automated API testing and test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Experience with Docker and cloud-based testing environments.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
