Job Summary:
The Senior Executive– Commercial & Supply Chainwill be responsible for managing and coordinating commercial operations, procurement activities, import and export processes, logistics, inventory coordination, supplier management, and supply chain activities to ensure smooth business operations. The role requires effective coordination with vendors, freight forwarders, customs authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement, shipment clearance, and product availability.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Operations
- Manage import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, banks, freight forwarders, customs clearing agents,and regulatory authorities for smooth commercial transactions.
- Process and monitorLetters of Credit (LC), TT payments, shippingdocuments, and other trade-related activities.
- Ensure timely customsclearance and deliveryof imported goods.
- Maintain and organizeall commercial documents, permits, licenses, and records.
- Monitor shipment status and resolveany issues relatedto delays or documentation discrepancies.
Procurement & SupplierManagement
- Source and evaluatesuppliers to ensurecost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Obtain quotations, negotiatepricing, terms, and delivery scheduleswith suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitorprocurement activities from requisition to delivery.
- Develop and maintainstrong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Coordinate inventory planningand stock replenishment to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Monitor inventory levelsand collaborate with relevant departments to forecast demand.
- Coordinate warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Ensure timely deliveryof products while optimizing logisticsand operational costs.
- Analyze supply chainperformance and identifyopportunities for processimprovement.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import policies, VAT, tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submitperiodic reports on procurement, inventory, shipment status, and supply chain performance.
- Maintain accurate recordsof commercial transactions and supply chainactivities.
- Assist management in budgeting, cost analysis, and operational planning.
- Coordination& Support
- Work closely with Accounts, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensuresmooth execution of commercial and supply chain activities.
- Support management in strategic sourcingand supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Handle any commercial and supply chain-related issues and providetimely resolutions.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or International Tradewill be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Procurement, Import-Export, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience handling LC operations, customsclearance, supplier management, and inventory coordination is preferred.
