We are looking for exceptional Senior Software Engineers who enjoy solving hard distributed systems problems and designing software architectures that remain elegant as complexity grows.

This role is not about assembling applications from AI-generated snippets or relying on "vibe coding." We use AI extensively to accelerate engineering, but we expect engineers to deeply understand the systems they build.

You should be comfortable reasoning about concurrency, distributed systems, performance bottlenecks, failure modes, data consistency, infrastructure tradeoffs, and long-term architectural evolution.

Job Context:  

• Design and implement highly scalable backend services powering AI-driven products.
• Architect distributed systems capable of handling large-scale real-time data processing.
• Build resilient event-driven systems with strong observability and fault tolerance.
• Design APIs, data models, and platform abstractions that enable rapid product development.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering standards across the organization.
• Drive technical design reviews and mentor other engineers.
• Collaborate closely with AI, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-grade systems.
• Identify and mitigate concurrency, synchronization, and distributed systems challenges before they become operational risks.
• Contribute to long-term platform strategy and technical roadmap.

Required:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, networking, operating systems, and database internals.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, parallelism, synchronization primitives, and multithreaded application design.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture patterns, tradeoffs, and scalability principles.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to reason about reliability, consistency, resilience, and fault tolerance.
• Proven track record of shipping complex systems from design through production.

Preferred:

• Experience building AI infrastructure, agent systems, ML platforms, or data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of event streaming technologies and real-time processing architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with high-performance systems and performance optimization techniques.
• Background in energy, industrial systems, IoT, or operational technology environments.
