Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax & Compliance Executive to manage the company’s taxation, VAT, and regulatory compliance activities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting tax returns, maintaining tax documentation, ensuring compliance with government regulations, coordinating with tax authorities, and supporting financial audits.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, VAT regulations, and accounting practices, along with the ability to handle tax-related issues efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Management
  • Prepare and submit corporate tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
  • Handle income tax, advance tax, withholding tax (TDS), and related tax matters.
  • Maintain proper tax records, challans, certificates, and supporting documents.
  • Calculate tax liabilities and ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and update management accordingly.
• VAT & Regulatory Compliance
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns as per government regulations.
  • Maintain VAT registers, Mushak forms, and VAT-related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all taxation and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with VAT authorities during inspections or audits.
• Compliance & Audit Support
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes.
  • Provide tax documents and reports required by auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, corporate regulations, and financial policies.
  • Respond to notices, queries, or legal correspondence from tax authorities.
• Financial Coordination
  • Work closely with the Accounts and Finance team.
  • Reconcile tax accounts with financial statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and tax planning activities.
  • Support management in reducing tax risks and improving compliance efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain updated tax files and compliance records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax reports.
