As our infrastructure continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for server administration, cloud operations, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and ensuring our production systems remain highly available, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
• Provision, configure, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production and staging servers.
• Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor server health, system performance, storage, networking, and application availability.
• Configure and manage web servers, reverse proxies, load balancers, and SSL certificates.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools where applicable.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and infrastructure updates.
• Configure and manage cloud networking, VPCs, security groups, IAM policies, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Implement backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues.
• Ensure infrastructure follows security best practices, including vulnerability management, patching, and access control.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to support application deployments.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, System Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, ELB/ALB, ECS/EKS, and CloudFront.
• Strong experience administering Linux servers in production environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience configuring and managing Nginx, Apache, or similar web servers.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high-availability architecture.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, secrets management, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage production infrastructure and respond to incidents.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent cloud certifications.
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other messaging and caching technologies.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other production databases.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, SIEM tools, WAFs, and penetration testing recommendations.
• Experience supporting healthcare, telemedicine, or other mission-critical applications.
• Experience working with AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, or machine learning deployments.
