We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and knowledgeable Executive / Senior Executive – VAT & Tax to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting VAT and tax compliance activities, including return preparation and submission, TDS/TCS compliance, collection of VAT and tax challans from clients, account reconciliations, statutory documentation, and coordination with auditors and tax authorities. Candidates should have a sound understanding of the VAT and Income Tax laws of Bangladesh and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and professional integrity.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure full compliance with VAT, TAX, and other applicable statutory regulations of Bangladesh.

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly/quarterly VAT returns and tax filings within deadlines.

• Maintain accurate records of VAT input/output, TDS, withholding tax, and related financial documents.

• Liaise with NBR (National Board of Revenue) and relevant tax authorities for assessments, audits, and queries.

• Assist in tax planning to ensure legal tax optimization and cost efficiency for the company.

• Monitor changes in VAT/TAX laws and ensure timely implementation within company operations.

• Prepare and maintain VAT-related ledgers, registers, and documentation for audit purposes.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required VAT/TAX data and reports.

• Coordinate with finance and accounts teams to ensure proper tax treatment of all transactions.
