Ensure compliance with all VAT and tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.

Monitor, review, and submit VAT returns, tax returns, and other regulatory reports within the stipulated deadlines.

Prepare and update Price Declarations (e.g., Mushak 4.3) to accurately reflect ingredient costs vs. retail selling prices.

Monitor VAT and tax records, statutory VAT registers, purchase/sales ledgers, and standard challans and supporting documentation (e.g., Mushak 6.1, 6.2, 6.3).

Coordinate with government authorities regarding VAT and income tax matters, including audits, assessments, and inspections.

Calculate and reconcile VAT, Advance Tax (AT), Advance Income Tax (AIT), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).

Monitor changes in VAT and tax legislation and advise management on compliance requirements.

Support financial audits and provide necessary VAT and tax-related documentation.

Develop and implement internal controls to ensure tax compliance and minimize risks.

Review import duties and VAT on imported F&B products, ingredients, or machinery.

Provide guidance to internal departments on VAT and tax implications of business transactions.

Prepare management reports related to VAT and taxation and recommend process improvements.
