Review and approve technical reports, repair specifications, and engineering documentation.

Investigate machinery failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality management systems.

Supervise recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development of engineering personnel.

Support vessel acquisition, commissioning, and technical feasibility studies.

Monitor fuel efficiency, lubrication management, and energy optimization initiatives.

Provide technical guidance and strategic planning to improve fleet reliability and operational performance.

Manage the technical operations of lighter vessels, Flat barge and dredging operations.

Ensure availability of critical spare parts and engineering materials.

Prepare technical budgets, annual maintenance plans, and management reports.

Establish engineering standards, SOPs, and best practices across the fleet.

Lead emergency response for major machinery breakdowns and technical incidents.
