Overview:

RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified manufacturing conglomerates, known for its plastics, stationery, metal, melamine, PVC, chemical, electronics, furniture, industrial products, light engineering, and Leather goods, is seeking a dedicated Manager for the Merchandising department to strengthen its business. The Merchandising Manager for Bag and Luggage is responsible for product planning, sourcing, costing, and order execution to ensure the right styles, materials, and price points for the market. The role involves managing suppliers, coordinating with design, production, quality, and logistics teams, tracking trends in footwear and travel goods, and ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and target margins while optimizing inventory and supporting business growth.

Job Location: Rajshahi, Rangpur, Narsindi, and Pabna

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop Bag and luggage product ranges based on market trends and customer demand.

• Source materials and products, negotiate prices, and finalize costing to achieve target margins.

• Manage suppliers and factories to ensure quality standards and timely production.

• Coordinate sampling, bulk production, inspections, and shipment schedules.

• Monitor sales performance and inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock.

• Ensure product quality, compliance, and durability standards specific to footwear and luggage.

• Work closely with design, QA, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.

• Prepare reports on costing, order status, margins, and merchandising performance.
