Job Description
Transport management (vehicle allocation, routing, utilization)
Efficient Communication with the Transport agencies.
Delivery planning & scheduling (trip planning, dispatch coordination)
Knowledge of VTS/GPS tracking systems
Route planning & lead time management
Understanding of vehicle capacity, loading & unloading processes
Documentation & reporting (trip reports, fuel logs, delivery records)
Basic cost control (fuel, toll, repair, trip expenses)
Knowledge of road safety & compliance (BRTA rules, licenses, fitness)
Vendor/transport contractor management
Basic mechanical awareness (to handle breakdown situations)
Job Requirements
- Having Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience is needed.
