VAT & Tax -related Responsibilities & Context:

• The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring proper compliance with tax and VAT laws and regulations.
• He will be able to facilitate tax and VAT audits conducted by the National Board of Revenue and other government authorities (as required).
• Corporate Tax & VAT planning for future period.
• Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance and VAT Act.
• Preparation monthly VAT return (9.1) & annual Tax return for all business units.
• Issue and maintain VAT 6.3
• Preparation of annual VAT returns and VAT audit for all business units.
• Ensure submission of Income Tax and VAT return in due time along with the required documents for all business units.
• Deliver a full range of tax and vat services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame.
• Maintain tax & vat balances on general ledger.
• Monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
• Checking VAT Challan Provided by the Vendor and maintain master recap of VAT & TAX.
• Handle and dealing all sorts of VAT matters of the Company.
• Any other Tax and VAT related task assigned by the management time to time.

Financial and Accounting Responsibilities:

• Maintaining general ledger accounts and performing regular reconciliations.
• Ensuring timely preparation of bank reconciliation statements.
