Job Description
- Identify & collect quotations from suppliers, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and finalize purchase orders.
- Conduct market surveys to stay updated on product pricing and availability.
- Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Source and enlist new vendors whilst ensuring complete documentation and proper integration into ERP software.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure Proforma Invoice documentation and complete processing according to policy/SOP.
- Obtain necessary approvals for procurement activities and contract agreements.
- Monitor and track order status, ensuring timely delivery and resolving delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of purchased products, delivery schedules, invoices, and payment status.
- Coordinate with store/inventory personnel to ensure proper receiving and storage of goods.
- Understanding of procedures and market practices.
- Assist Line Manager with any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is needed.
