Job Description
- Manage the full merchandising process — product development, costing, sampling, approvals, production follow-up, and shipment.
- Maintain strong day-to-day communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Prepare and monitor T&A plans, BOM, cost sheets, consumption, and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with production, planning, quality, fabric & trims teams for smooth workflow.
- Execute price negotiations and support in order confirmation with buyers.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports: WIP, order status, sample tracking, shipment status.
- Work closely with sample section for development samples, SMS, and shipment samples.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop samples as per buyer requirements, reviewing and approving them to meet quality and specification standards while suggesting improvements aligned with market trends.
- Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices, and handle order confirmation.
- Ensure all approvals (samples, trims, fabrics, and print/ embroidery) are received on time.
- Prepare and maintain all merchandising documentation, including PO, order sheets, consumption, costing, and inspection reports.
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience is needed.
