Perform grinding, beveling, edge preparation, and surface finishing before and after welding.

Prepare weld joints in accordance with approved fabrication drawings and WPS requirements.

Remove slag, spatter, burrs, and surface defects before welding.

Operate angle grinders, bench grinders, cutting tools, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure proper surface preparation for welding, inspection, painting, or coating.

Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of grinding tools and equipment.

Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the welding workshop.

Support welding and fit-up personnel in fabrication activities as required.
