Ensure full compliance with shipping laws, maritime regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements for mother vessels.

Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and period closing.

Monitor vessel-wise costing, voyage accounts, freight income, and expense control with regulatory accuracy.

Handle port authority charges, shipping agent bills, bunker costs, and regulatory fees in a timely manner.

Prepare and verify financial statements, MIS, and compliance reports related to shipping operations.

Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance for shipping, charter-party, and vessel operations.

Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, port authorities, and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.

Maintain compliance with VAT, tax, customs, and maritime financial reporting standards.

Implement internal controls, risk management, and compliance checks across shipping accounts.

Lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
