General Context and Background: The Project Supervisor for WASH at HEKS/EPER will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing water, sanitation, and hygiene projects in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective delivery of WASH services to communities in need, aligning with HEKS/EPER's mission to combat hunger, poverty, and injustice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the WASH project team, ensuring all activities are executed according to the project plan and timeline.

• Coordinate with various departments including Finance & Admin, HR & Logistics, MEAL, and Communication & Business Development to ensure seamless project operations.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as DPHE, Education, Health, and Family Planning departments to facilitate project success.

• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for the Program Manager - WASH, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements, maintaining high standards of accountability and transparency.

• Oversee the budget management of the project, ensuring financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.

• Facilitate capacity-building initiatives for the project team and local partners to enhance project delivery and sustainability.

• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and ensure project continuity.

Key Duties:

• Directly manage Assistant Project Officers, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and provide technical support to the field teams.

• Ensure the integration of gender and protection considerations into WASH programming.

• Promote community engagement and participation in project activities to ensure sustainability and ownership.
