Project Overview: The Senior Accounts Officer will be integral to the 'Breaking Barriers for Women in Agriculture' project, funded by the Innovations Against Poverty (IAP) challenge fund of SNV Netherlands Development Organization. This project aims to enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen farmers’ livelihoods, and promote sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the financial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure financial alignment with project goals and objectives.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and funding bodies.

• Monitor and manage project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Facilitate audits and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

• Support capacity building initiatives for smallholder women farmers through financial training and assistance.
