We are seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and strategic Commercial Officer to join our Commercial Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all import and export operations, customs and bond compliance, banking activities, shipping, and commercial documentation while ensuring full compliance with Bangladesh's regulatory requirements and supporting smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage BGMEA, SAFTA, REX, UD, and all other commercial certifications and regulatory documentation.
• Oversee all import, export, shipping, customs, bond, and UD operations.
• Ensure compliance with BGMEA, Customs, Bond Commissionerate, Bangladesh Bank, NBR, and other government regulations.
• Handle L/C opening, amendment, negotiation, retirement, and settlement.
• Prepare, review, and maintain commercial documents including PI, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, EXP, and related shipping documents.
• Monitor UD balances, raw material consumption, and import-export documentation.
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, C&F agents, and government authorities.
• Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve all commercial and logistics-related issues.
• Liaise with Production, Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Monitor commercial costs, freight charges, duties, and other related expenses to improve cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement commercial policies, systems, and SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain proper commercial records and ensure accurate documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Stay updated with changes in customs regulations, VAT, trade policies, and international commercial practices.
• Prepare commercial reports, performance analyses, and management updates.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
